Haha! the top part of my Blog is just a whole bunch of nonsense, I'm just really excited about the Great ORD movement! simply because I cannot wait to ORD and become more active in Church! But while I'm waiting for those 3 powerful words, I'm not gonna spend the time just slacking and wasting it.

I'm gonna make myself stronger spiritually by praying and reading the bible whenever I have free time(most likely during area cleaning and after R.O), I'm going to do my quiet time more, I'm gonna help out my platoon mates with their problems! but most importanly, I'm gonna be wise and seek God in everything I do.

Mong just showed me 2 very Powerful verse in the bible, I'm take these verses and use them as guide lines in camp.

The Common Question

Life is filled with crossroads, the right path may not always be right

Checking back on the date of my last entry, It was dated 21 july 2009?! Woah! My Blog has officially died! Haha and if you think it's because I'm too lazy then you're about 75% Correct! :P
Yeah but the other 25% was due to the fact that I was invovled in the National day Parade, which sucked up much of my time! but it was a experience I would never forget as during that period I experienced what it was like to lead the slack life!

Haha yeah those who had talked to me in the past while I was still doing NDP would be extremely shocked at reading this message, but yeah! I have to say that the NDP peroid was actually the slackest part of my life at 30 so far! even though we have to do monotounus work everyday, get our weekends burned while at the same time get scoleded for packing too slow, it was during this peroid that I got to know my platoon mates and actually create genuine and real relationships with them!

On contrast, I also experience what is like to live the tiring life in 30. The life I have now revovles aorund the pull up bar, My rifle and the floor!(for doing lots of Push ups) though it's no longer monotounus anymore! it has become physically and mentally exhausting for me and my platoon mates to handle(even the very fit ones) after leading two totally different lives for the past 4months, I began to wonder about one of the dilemma every single NS will face in His Army Journey, To Chiong or not to Chiong?

I always thought that in the Army, as long as you don't do anything stupid you won't get in trouble. But in 30 I've learnt that the theory is totally wrong! as in 30, you can get pumped for doing something correct! So the question of whether or not to chiong kept popping up in my mind, should I be a Up Soldier and volunteer for everything or be the first person to run down the hill to fix the Short trackway Bridge? or should I be the person who stands at the corner working my eye power and just spends most of the day whining and complaining about how sucky the life there is?

Well, I believe that after 4 months, I've come up with the perfect solution, the idea is to be

Real.

Haha, yeah! it's that simple! just be Real! just be who you are! you don't have to be the first person carrying the stores into the tunnel, but neither should you be the person standing there looking at the rest work, the logic is simple! if you're too slack in the Army, people will hate you! but if you're too Garang, they will still hate you! haha because when you're too slack, they label you as a chao keng who just want to smoke you're way through the excercise, but if you're too up, you get labelled as a Wayang who just wants to kiss up to the commanders!

But if you stay Real and do you're part, no one will say anything! in fact! you will most likely be the person who is well liked by everyone in the company!(inculding your Commanders!)

So yeah, I've decided that for the next 1 year 7 months of my army life, I'm not gonna Chao keng my way to become a Store man, nor will I chiong my way to become a Coporal first class, instead I'm gonna keep my eyes on the prize and win the hearts and soul of the people in 30 for the Kingdom. Anything is possible with God, but possibilities become reality when you trust and rely on Him.

A Change can be seen

Hmmm...something interesting is happening in my Family, My whole family seems to be going Topsy turvy! My brother is rejecting Christianity and questioning my faith! preferring to listen to his Army colleague instead of those who are genuine to him!

But on the other hand, My Mum and Dad are becoming more open to Me being a christian and God! Wow! months ago when I told My parents that I was going to Church, they would scowl at me, mock me with petty insults and even threaten to disown me for being a christian! NOW! they are supportive of me going to church! offering to chauffeur me from Home to Church or from church to camp! No longer do they insult me instead they encourage me and love me more!

The situation now is so ironic! What is going on?! What is God Planning?! I have no Idea??!! But no matter what! I'm Excited about the future!!

Change in Mentality

Difference comes from Action

It's time to change my mentality of Evangelism and towards Approaching God with my problems, no longer will I sit back and wait for Miracles to happen, It's time I took the fight into my Own Hands.

Loving my friends and bringing them to church is My Responsibility and My Goal, I cannot constantly rely on the efforts of my CG mates as in the End I'm the one who knows them best, I'm the one who has spend the most time on them, and I'm the one who initiated and invited them to church. So there is no point starting something that I cannot complete and leave the work to others to complete it for me.

My Friends, My Responsibility, My Dream & My Vision. God can create the Miracle, but it is up to us to finish it! God can create the right opportunities and moments, but it is up to us to take it! God can give us Dreams and Visions beyond our wildest imaginations, but it is up to us to Live it and Fulfill it!

It's time to stop be passive and wait to be approached by others, that's not what Christianity is about. Christianity is about being on the offensive, it's about being active! it's about be Productive! it's about being Other's centred! so in the name of Jesus

4th week of BMTC: When the enhance batch come in, Cookhouse is going to be very crowded
5th week of BMTC: Oh no! Field Camp is Next Week!!! IFC!
6th w eek of BMTC: Suffering in field Camp, When can I use a proper toilet...
7th week of BMTC: What?! Strenght training 9?!?!?!
8th week of BMTC: Swine flu still must go SIT test?

The throwing of the jockey cap marks the end of the journey of every recruit in BMTC and it signifies the readiness of the newly promoted privates to embark on a whole new journey in their respective posting in future. The feeling of passing out is like Ecstasy, you get high for the next 2 hours or so, but after the adrenaline and hype fades away you are left wondering to yourself, what was the defining moment of your BMTC life that made you the person you are today, a stronger more mature young adult.

Could it be the 5 days of gruelling torment in field camp? the day you are entrusted with your Rifle? or even the moment you got your head shaved and every single working particle inside of your brain just died? Well the question it self is pretty subjective as different people have different views, but for me personally I feel that my most defining moment in BMT would have to be the entire 13 weeks.

For me, the 13 weeks of BMT have been a turmoil of emotions for me as I experience many highs and lows and I discovered myself more, both the Good side and the Ugly side of me but most importantly the spiritual side of me. From day 1 when I entered into Cougar company, I had asked God, "Why have you placed me in Cougar Company?", and I had the right to ask that as Cougar Company was the notoriously known for being the toughest, meanest and least welfare company in the whole of BMTC, I never understood why I would be placed in Cougar Company, until today.

I realised that God placed me in Cougar company because he knows that this is the place where I will be able to grow the most. And I believe that I have grown quite a lot ever since entering Cougar Coy, I've grown to rely more on God for the decisions that I make, I've grown to Love God and Treasure his pressence and ultimately I've grown to learn that the World is different from what I perceived it to be, and that We should live in the World and not Be of the World.

My journey in BMT has given me Memories that I will never forget, but more importantly BMT has given me conviction in my spirit, the bonds that I formed with the people there are unique and special, its a bond deeper than friendship almost like a brother hood, and quoting one of the speeches of my Platoon Commander

" The Muscle you build up during BMT may sag after 10 years, but the Friendships and Bonds will last you a lifetime"

In conclusion, My defining moment in BMT started and Ended at the Ferry terminal, It's not what you leave behind, but what you bring back, I entered Army with uncertainty and fear but came out with Faith and Conviction. My Journey in Tekong is finally Over, but I will still carry the Motto of cougar with me into my new unit, to be "Stronger! Better! Faster!" in everything I do.

When we talk about revival, we always think about our schools and our workplaces but when we talk about a revival in the Army, many of us would just shun the idea as Nonsense or Unattainable because of the cultural difference between Church and Army.

But I believe a revival in the Army is not only possible, it is happening! You May think I'm crazy, but right now I'm taking a step of Faith and stretching my arm out to the mouth of the Cougar, and breaking the Fangs and the Jaws of their resistance.

What does Mummy Mean?

Happy Mothers Day! spelling error free!

M = Motherly
Obviously the first M in Mummy should stand for Motherly, as that's what mothers are! and the word motherly is made for them! and like the word Motherly states, my mom has been both Warm and nurturing to me over the past 19 years by always showering me with love and attention, even when I don't deserve it, and if it was not for her nurturing I won't be who I am today, a 19 year old young Adult.

U = Unique
Yes! U stands for Unique as every Mother has a different way of showing their love to their children, some do it through hugs and kisses, some through lavish gifts and excessive pocket money, but mine does it through constant encouragement and always being there for me, even when it was inconvenient for her. My mum is unique and I love her the way she is and everyday I thank God for making her my mother as I won't want it another way.

M = Magnificent
My Mom is Magnificent! that's right! mothers are magnificent people! as they are willing to sacrifice their effort, time and even their dreams to raise up a child up. Mothers put 100% effort in raising up their children as being a mother is a 24/7 365 days a year job with no leaves and no Attend C's, but our mothers still do it anyway as they love us their children more than anything else in this world, and want to see us soar like Eagles.

M = Magical
A Mothers love is Magical, as no matter how good looking/ugly, how tall/short, how nice/mean or even how lovable/unlovable a child you are, your mother will still love you. When the world gives up on you and abandons you, your mom will still be there for you, loving and praying for you, I believe that God is Love, and our Mom's are God's Ambassador as they are the best at expressing his unconditional love through their own unique way.

Y = You Rock!
That's right 2 words for Y, not because I can't find a good word for it, but rather because these 2 words are the most fitting for our mothers! they do Rock! most people would say you have to be crazy to want to be a soldier, but I say you have to be crazy to be a Mother! as a soldier your only duty is to your country, but as a mother your duty is not just to raise up a child to serve his/her nation, but rather to raise up one of God's beloved children to their fullest potential in him. And that's the reason I love my mom! even though she doesn't approve of me being a christian, she still believes that it is God's mission for her to raise me up to be a strong man rich in Character and in some cases God, My Mom ROCKS!

Yeah, so this is just a short mother's day post that I got inspired to write on the way home inside of Matthew's Car, ha ha yeah good news! My mummy is coming to church tomorrow! and not just My mom! Pan and Wei en's moms too! awesome right?! ha ha even till this day God surprises me in so many different ways, his ways are truly above mine :) oh yeah Trivia! did you know Grace can jump 198cm?! that's like close to 2m! some of my platoon mate can't even jump 180cm! so WOW! ha ha oh and Grace thanks for the Awesome Birthday card! its really unique! specially since I almost Ate it! ha ha

Leadership

Aura: A distinctive but intangible quality that seems to surround a person

I just realised something this morning while I was doing my Commanders Appraisal. There is something different between My Leaders and My Commanders; even though they both lead people, they do it in very different yet ironically identical Ways

For Example, one of the important things required for leadership is Respect and in the Army, the Commanders demand our respect through constant scolding and fear while in Church the leaders Earn our respect through constant encouragement and Love, and the irony is that another way they earn our respect is to lead by example by being Role Models we can look up to.

As I ponder on this thought, I begin to wonder if my Commanders and my Leaders are actually not as different as I thought they were. Maybe they are leaders of the same qualities and abilities, if that's so then Church would be very similar to the Army(except without the physical torment and vulgarities). So in My mind I began constructing a Church/Army rank, and this is what it looks like

General: Pastor How & Pastor Lia
Colonel: Charleston
Major: Roy
Captain: Yassy
Lieutenant/Platoon Commander: Mong
Platoon Sergeants: Pan and JO
Corporal: All the Regulars
Privates: Good Integrations
Recruits: New Friends

On paper it seems logical that the Church is no different from the Army, when we are new to church, we are like the blur Recruits who know no one there and are vulnerable, but after 1month of BCT(Basic Christian Training) we move on to BMT(Basic Military Training) and after we POP from that we get posted to a ministry and become Privates, after spending a long time in church we take on more responsibilities such as organizing CG, Celebrating Birthdays we get promoted to corporals and its our responsibility to inter grate the new friends and if your show leadership qualities you get send to HOGC's Sispec/OCS which is called AMT and the cycle continues.

At first I was really excited about the whole idea of Church being an Army, Images of Yassy and Mong leading C1 and C3 into God's Battleground and Pan and JO holding SAR21's that shoot bible verses and the idea of people like Si hui or Grace manning a GP MG(General Purpose Machine Gun) really tickled my funny bone. But as I sat there, I begin to ask myself if the Army could be more like Church and to my surprise I can't seem to fit the image of church together with the Army, it seem impossible.

I was really confused, why can't the Army be more like Church? if the leadership qualities of both are the same, then theoretically the equation should be Church=Army. Then I remembered something Roy told me in camp last night

"The Commanders in Camp here are people who
are thrown into leadership roles, so under Pressure they become stressed
and are unable to lead by example"

Initially I didn't really understand what He meant by that, but putting it into context I realised he had meant. The difference between the leaders in Church and the Commanders in Army is the GOD Factor. Even though the leaders of both organization both have the same qualities and abilities, they do not have the same Values for the Commanders in the Army are too independent on their own abilities, so when a problem arises they have no one but themselves to rely on giving them unnecessary stress thus making them break under pressure.

But the Leaders in Church are different, they too have the ability to depend on themselves during tough or pressurizing situations, but unlike the Commanders in the Army, They look to God for the solution and through that they are able to maintain a calm mind for they know that God is their Solution to the Problem, God Dependence.

I'm not saying that The Commanders in the Army are below those of the Church, for all we know some of them might even be better leaders, but what I'm saying is that the reason the Army can never be like church is not because of the vulgarities nor the leadership, but rather its of God. And once again I'm not saying that God is not in the Army Camps, I'm saying that the leaders in Church are really Unique and Special individuals who can trust God with all that they have.

Don't you feel that there is a different feeling you get from your leaders than with other people? like a special Aura? One interesting thing I noticed is that when Alvin a Platoon Commander walks into my bunk, all my bunk mates look at his rank and ran out of the room, but when they saw me talking with Roy right after the conversation, they asked me if he was My leader and told me that he seemed like a really nice person to talk to.

What I'm blabbering about may not make sense to a lot of people, but that's the least of My worries for right now I'm just glad that I am able to prove to myself the Army May be strong, but God's Army is Stronger.

What makes a Leader? God

My Blog has been dead for the past 3weeks or so already, haha guess Army is not only killing my brain cells its also killing my blog. Yeah I just booked out 2 hours ago, and all I can say that its not really a very happy bookout, why?

FIELD CAMP

Yep, 6 days of living in the vegetation(apparently the plantations in Singapore are too noob to be called Jungles) where our physical and combat fitness will be stretched to the limit and our Sergeants will mentally push our sanity to the brink of insanity. Worst part is, I won't be able to go for church service this weekend and maybe next weekend, Awesome...(Sarcasm)

But out of all this Negativity, there is a silver lining in the form of Dragon and Falcon Company. Haha! in case you don't know, My Leaders Roy and Mong are staying Really close to my Coy line!(Roy is just directly Beside my company line! haha plus he's also in Platoon 4 section 4!) and Mong is in Falcon company which is only like a stone throw away, haha plus Alvin is also in tekong as a Platoon Commander(You should have seen the face of my Bunk mates when he came to look for me in my Bunk! haha they were so scared that they ran out of the bunk!) plus Sean is enlisting in to Tekong tomorrow! and its kinda hard to miss Sean :)

So even though I am forced to face the floor 20times ever day and night and forced to run my 2.4km at a consistent timing of 11.40 minutes, I know that my Leaders are right beside me looking after me(literally, lol Roy can see my Company get Tekan everyday haha, plus Mong marches past my Coy line all the time)

Even Though I can't be in Heart Of God Church ever weekend, God has brought Heart of God Church to me everyday in my Army life, He is Faithful.

Stronger Better Faster

Praying, Praising, Learning

I'm back from my 2 weeks of Army confindment, yeah am a little too tired to blog about alot of things, so I'm just gonna make it short. During these two weeks, I've been pushed beyong my physical and mental limts, through the Physical training and the commanders.

Physically, I had never been able to do 40 push ups with muscle achs over my whole bodies nor had I ever ran a 2.4km run with a strained hamstring before. Mentally, I had never been ordered around by anyone before to echo out a command or fall in platoon level within 30 seconds before nor had I ever been surrounded by a sea of vulgarities before.

Personally I think it's really thanks to God that I'm able to come out of the first 2 weeks of BMT with only a slight fever and a slight cough, God pushed me through the physical training in BMT, whenever I felt like giving up or slowing down, I would pray for God to give me Strength to continue pushing myself. And when others are sprouting vulgarities like drinking water, I would pray silently in my heart for understanding and peserverance.

God has been Good to me during my first 2 weeks of BMT, He has came to my rescue when I needed him most, and He allowed me to conqure my problems through my own determination, He will never give me a challenge I cannot Handle.

Persevere and become a Inspiration for someone

This is most likely my last post before I get enlisted into Army on Friday, haha yeah guess I will be posting about Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.

SUNDAY:

Sunday started out with a powerful discipleship class with Lynett, I learned so much about Church Culture and what it means to be a church builder! really powerful!
After discipleship class, was prayer meeting. During Prayer Meeting, Charleston taught us how to pray using the book of Psalms in the bible, I was totally blown away :)
Service with Pastor Josh Kelsey was really powerful! It's quite impossible to relay such a powerful message through a blog post, the only way you can experience it again is to go get the DVD!(which cost around $4) at the Generations Bookstore at Heart of God Church :P

"If you Believe, Then God can Move"

My Sunday was completed when Raven 18 captain came to Heart Of God and had Dinner with us! haha it was really great seeing Panther(no longer FAT) prowl Heart of God Church again haha! Dinner was a really enjoyable as we all brought food up to the AL Frasco and just spend the next hour or so fellowshipping, a great way to end My last weekend.(I'm not dying, just going Army)

Monday:

Nothing really special happened on Monday, other than me oversleeping and waking up at 9am(DARN! CANNOT!!) and that the birthday Coordinator's meeting got cancelled at the last minute.
Oh yeah! a series of forgetful events managed to prevent Shi han & I from boarding the Bus to go for the Meeting! haha Shi han and I were supposed to meet at 6pm but shi han kept forgetting to bring things(firstly the creative brief secondly his own EZ-Link Card) so what was supposed to be a very frustrating wait for him turned out to be a blessing in disguise! haha!

Tuesday:

Tuesday was the All Lan day, 6 of us went to play Left 4 Dead at Dhoby ghuat there haha and in Ah Koon's team was Koon wei, Shi han, Shi heng and Duncan, on my Team was Eugene, Yong Xin and Me. It was a great match! haha lots of us got mobbed by zombies, pounced on by hunters, strangled by smokers and "Tio Zap" by boomers. Haha in the end the Match ended in a Draw!
After that we went to bugis to get some stuff for Koon wei, and I managed to get a Topman tie for $9! Originally $29! I save $20! whoo! I knew waiting was the right choice! mwahaha! :)
But the most memorable part of Tuesday was probably us celebrating Koon wei's birthday! haha we came up with a ingenious birthday scheme which involves Shi han, Eugene and I hiding on the 11 floor, and Shi heng, Yong xin and Duncan being the decoy for Ah koon on the 1st floor!

The Operation started with Alpha Squad para dropping on the 11th floor, before giving briefing Bravo squad with the procedures, Communications Expert Shi heng then contacted the Bogey(Koon wei) to leave the house while back up Communications Yong Xin kept Alpha Squad in touch of the situation.
When Bogey had left the premise, Alpha squad Swooped in and made contact with the Spy Koon wei's Mom to pass the Package before proceeding back to demilitarized zone.

MISSON COMPLETE

Haha I'm just kidding, we didn't really paradrop to the 11th floor, but other than that the rest were all real! haha we managed to sneak the cake into Koon wei's house! and at 11.25pm, we all celebrated Ah koon's birthday! haha :D
After the Celebrations, Eugene came to my house to stay over, We were planning to watch the movie "The day after tomorrow" but half way through we both agreed that the movie was too boring and decided to talk about Ghost stories! haha we spend the next 1 and a half hours just spooking each other out!

Just came back home from the awesome LAN outing with Mong, Shi han, Yong xin, Koon weiShi heng. It was really a fun outing, we played L4D and walked around queensway till our legs became jelly, then rested, and walked again before having dinner at the coffee shop in our area.

Fellowship this good doesn't come often, its easy for a group of people to come together and just LAN and go shopping, but its hard for a group of people to be able to scream "EH! I TIO ZAP!" and laugh their heart out and enjoy each other's company so thoroughly. I'm starting to understand why Kenny said "Its good to see you again Henry" the day he first came home from Tekong, I can't wait for the day where I would be able to say that to every single person I know be it from Family, Church, school etc, because the day I say that will be the day my 2 weeks of confinement is Over!

I'm praying for a breakthrough in every aspect of my life in Army, I believe that God will change my mindset of everything I see, think and say, just like how he did when I first came to heart of God church and when I first discovered L4D.

Speaking about L4D, I always wondered what would happened to the infected if the tables were turned against them? hmmm.... and

That would be wrong on so many Levels, even for the undead haha.

A whole new Chapter of my life is about to begin, a chapter called Army. Yes Army, the mandatory assignment given to every healthy Boy since the day they were born, the very fabric of our Singaporean Men's culture for "A Boy who has never been through Army will never be a Men" and the very motivational tool Parents use to scare their children into studying hard with lines such as "Ah Boy ah! you must study hard ah! if not go army you suffer!" and " I tell you! study hard! if not this year you go Army!"

Most young men view National Service as a Chore rather than a mission, and they have every right to do so, for they never signed a contract with the government agreeing to give 2 precious years of their lives to be treated like drones and earn a basic salary, where in these 2 years they could be more productive by either working or studying in University, but against their will, they signed this lucrative contract the day they were born.

For Me personally, I view Army, like the typical Singaporean Men, as a Drag. But thinking about it, Army might not be so bad. I mean which guy in the right mind had never dreamed about holding a M16(or saw 21) and chionging in the battlefield defending the country they love, making friends with people of different beliefs and culture, feeling the adrenaline of holding a hand grenade and flinging it half way across the field or even just sitting down at a coffee shop 20 years after they ORD to debate and compare about how "shiong"(tough) their Army lives were, yeah Army is only as bad as the way you view it, if you view it in a negative perspective, then Army shall be the worst days of your life, but viewing it in a positive light shall make the 2 years a lot more bearable and meaningful, I learnt this from Alvin :)

But being a Christian, I should view Army as neither a Negative nor a Positive view, rather I should view Army in a God's point of view. Pastor once preached that in order to have spiritual maturity, we must first elevate our senses to that of God's perspective. So what is God's perspective about Army? well I think God views Army as a proving ground for all Christians, for in Army you are not sheltered from the carnal and worldly things but rather the opposite, they are thrown in your face at full throttle. In Army, there's going to be people who will speak vulgarities, act obnoxiously and persecute you, and the worst thing is, in Army, you are far far away from your comfort zone, Church. God views Army as a proving ground as in Army, the culture inside of you will be tested, will you be tempted to speak vulgarities when others do it? will you deny your faith in God when you are persecuted?

These are all God's way of testing your faith, but more than that, it is God's way of moving you from culture to conviction, from dependancy to independance, God will never give you a Test you cannot Handle so it is up to you to rise up in faith and fly above the storm.

I Was surfing Youtube when I came across the Master Card Guy! haha yep the dancing guy you see in the Cinema before the movie starts, apparently his name is Matt! haha, I love that M1 Commercial! not because it is nice or anything, but because the commercial is just so pointless and nice.

Seriously, what could be more entertaining than seeing a goofy man dance in front of the monuments of the world? actually a lot of things haha, plus the combination of a weird dance and the Beautiful scenery make the video worth watching! one mintue your looking at the background saying "Wah so nice!", the next you'll be staring at Him saying "wa lau! The Year of the Ox, Why the Heck did I put Pig?!!!

Chinese New Year! haha other than the Ang Bao, there is nothing I really like about it! haha! yeah but since its officially New Year liao! I decided that I will be super nice till the end of the Lunar New year! Why?! to prove that I can be Nice also! Mwahahaha...erm...I mean Haha(Chuckle)

Yeah same as every year My relatives came to my house in the morning to just hang out and play Mah Jong(I didn't Play of course!) and they stayed till 4.30pm, At 5pm my bro K-do a.k.a Kenji! decided to clean the house, It was harder than I thought! Woah! but eventually We managed to clean our Room, the rest was done by my mom lol!

Reunion dinner was actually quite nice, haha we had Steamboat, and I ate the most, not because I'm Greedy or anything! much rather because I was stuck between my Father and My Cousin, they both have super big Appetites, so even when I was full they were still eating, so When in Rome do as the Romans Do, EAT! haha we ended up clearing the whole thing! After Dinner, the Adults went to Mah Jong AGAIN! while the youths watched Rush Hour 2, oh ya! I have this super cute 2 year old Cousin called San Yun! she is like the bossiest 2 year old in singapore! and its super cute the way she does things!!! Waaah!

Reached home at around 10.30 and watched Ah Long Pte, then mass send my Chinese New Year Message, a very bad thing happened! I totally got the wrong zodiac sign!!! I wished everyone a very good PIGGY year! woaaah! Major Mistake! My mom nearl went berserk! ranting about how important it is to get the right year if not I would sway all the people I wished and blah blah blah! so in order to make her stop I decided to just resend the message again, so if this month's phone bill "explodes" Its not My Fault! haha Momster Its yours! hahahaha!

Learning from the New Generation

Recently I have been going back to my old Secondary School Bedok North, Not to make trouble but much rather to go and Help out haha, so yeah I have been going back to good'ol BNSS for 2 days already(I missed 1 day due to "the Flow"), and I have been given the humble task to do GARDENING!

Haha for the first day all I did was just dig up the soil from the Pots and water the plants, but today...I GOT A PROMOTION! haha from today onwards I will officially be the Aesthetic Gardener! Whoo! I have been given the task to Beautify the front part of the School and trust me, it is a MAJOR jump haha! because now I don't have to dig up the plants, which means my hands will be clean and a Clean Henry is a Happy Henry :D

At 3pm, I went to the school field to train with the School's softball team, and to my surprise the old C boys(now B boys) all still remember me! they filled me in on what I missed during my years absence(BNSS won Silver in the East zone and was ranked top 8 last year! they are now competing in the Semi-finals!)

Training with the B boys was really TIRING!!!!! haha I was totally out of Sync with them as they did their drills! wow its surprising what not training can do to you! I was like a Hen in Air with no Parachute on the pitch, Flapping my arms around trying to catch their 70 mph passes and clucking for fear when they batted the balls in my direction. But still it was fun catching up and training with them again, its been too long haha!

OK! I have to tell you the Shiokest Moment of training! My old Coach actually still remembers My Clique and I, haha he was extremely stunned to see me training again and asked about how Yong Xin, Ronson & I were doing, he still looked the same, Strong, Muscular, good looking and 164cm tall. But that is not the shiok moment no no no! haha the shiok moment came when he introduced me to the C boys! Here's exactly what he says!

Coach Kenny: OK, Sec 1's meet your new temporary Coach, Henry. Yeah He was one of my ex-Softball players and he will be teaching you guys the basics.

SHIOK!!!!!!!!!

HAHA! yeah I'm going to be Coaching the Secondary 1 students in Softball! but of course the shiokness only lasted for 15mins, because training the Secondary 1 students is harder than I thought, they have no foundation nor Basics knowledge of softball! so yeah I got pretty pissed training them, and made them run 6 laps around the around the field(Yeah that's the Mean Black Irritating Hen inside of me) but no worries, being the coach I ran with them.

Then out of the blue, a Stray fly ball flew and hit one of the secondary one students Pierre on the head, and immediatley everyone on the pitch ran towards him to see if he was alright, seeing this I remembered how together the Softball Team used to be and how everyone was a Team player and not a Superstar. Everyone cared for Pierre so much that they would rush to aid him when he was injured. Who says Neighbourhood School's don't have Culture? You just have to look for it at the Right Places, and its just awesome that the Culture is similar to the Ethos of Heart Of God Church. I felt like an Old Dog learning new Tricks today, Learning from the New Generation. Our God is Amazing.

Think about Others, Pray for Others

Service was Really Powerful yet Again! haha I think that's my template for every weekend post! every weekend say the same thing! so monotonous haha! but really it was super zai! Pastor How preached about Faith and Healing, it was really powerful, but what was more powerful was that one of the Adult members of Heart of God Church had gotten Cancer, but through the Divine healing of God and the Love of Pastors and her CG mates, she was Healed from it.

Her Testimony is super inspiring and impactful, I could feel Faith arising within in as we watched the Video, I was touched to hear what her CG mates did for her, they would drive her from destination to destination, buy her a New CD player when her old one was spoiled, pray for her and they even bought her a Ipod Mano(unsure of Spelling), after the testimony Pastor asked us to pray for healing to be either upon us or on our Loved ones, and as we prayed, I could feel the Assurance of God telling me that Ah Koon will be Healed :)

Off topic of the Service now, during Dinner, I was discussing the movie twilight with everyone in the CG and it turns out that I AM THE ONLY PERSON WHO THINKS THAT BELLA SWAN IS PRETTY! ARGH! how can that be?! She is pretty what!(Compose youself....compose yourself...) haha I won't spend alot of time writing an essay on why I think Bella is pretty because its literally obvious that she is Pretty!(Admit it Winifred she IS Preeeeettttty!) so I believe Picture speak louder than words(De ja vu!) so I will post a picture and you decide if she is pretty anot, And hopefully you make the right decision ah because She is very pretty ah! so please say that she's pretty ah!

Today I cried...Tears rolled down my eyes...Tears of JOY! BOLTS!

Hey Hey! Just came back from an Awesome Movie outing! We watched Bolt the Movie! and it was super funny! My favourite Character will have to be Rhino the hamster! I don't care how Cute or adorable Bolt is! Rhino is the only reason I laughed in the Movie! His Laughter is Contagious! HAHAHAHAHA!

After the Movie, we went to have Dinuch! the food at Food republic is quite expensive sia! 4 tutu kway for $2! Day light Robbery! haha! after lunch, We had Arm Wrestling Matches! I have no idea who the overall winners of the Match was, but I think it was Dave bah, haha! his Bicepswah! BIG SIO! haha :D ah!

At 5.30pm, Desmond, Joshua, Jeremy, Pan and I trained from Vivo City to Plaza Sing to find some Cards, But in the End we gave up and decided to go play Lan instead haha! and you know what?! Left 4 Dead! is really an Awesome Game! We intended to only play for 1 hour and then leave for home, but the game was so addictive that we actually played for 2 hours! The best part of the game was when we managed to jump on the Chopper and see all the Zombies fly down the building! Irony was that I played the girl in the game =.=''', Now Back to my old habits! Back from Service! Super! Whooo Haven't been Blogging recently, but I am going to blog now! OK firstly! yesterday there was CG at 5pm! but before that I met up with Ja-Man a.k.a Jason, haha yeah I met up with him at suntec to just hang out and have lunch, haha then at around 3.30pm we decided to set off to Church as we want to practice the church culture of being 15mins early(actually no ah, haha we just wanted to get out of suntec!)

BUT! unfortunately, we were stopped by someone who was giving out Christmas decorations, and when we took it they said that we are eligible for free gifts, so being the true blue Singaporean Kiasu's that we are, we sat down with the two people, Only to realise that we had taken their bait!(Argh!) so for the next 1 hour, we listen to them explain about the benefits of saving our money with them, about the 3% interest they have as compared to those in banks(0.2%) and about the way we can spend the money after 2 years(yes 2 years!) So in the end, when they were finally done talking to us, it was already 4.32pm already, so we had no choice but to Cab to church. From this we learned 1 lesson

Lesson on Not being Kiasu: Priceless

That was a totally Random heading, haha! anyways CG was really Awesome! Mong was leading CG and he shared with us about giving our best to God Deuteronomy 6:5 "you shall love the lord, your God, with all your heart, all your soul and all your Mind" it was really and awesome CG!

After CG, the "Real Man" all went to dhoby ghaut to play LAN! haha! and when "Real Man" come together in a Lan shop, there is only one game we can play, YES That's right! BATTLEFIELD 2! Whoooo! haha! It was super fun! Desmond, Joshua and I played as Medics in one of the rounds and We kept Reviving ourselves after we got killed! It happened like 4-5 times! haha! so we kept reviving and dying and reviving and dying! and the funniest part is that JO is the one who was killing us! haha! so its like we were giving him a free shot at us! haha!

We decided to stop at 11.20pm, after that Joshua, JO, Pan and I went to Alvin's house! and Wheeee it was super fun haha! The trip there was hilarious! as the 5 of us were squeezing in one Cab! so we were thinking of ways to get the uncle to let all of us in(we came up with the idea of where we placed JO in the trunk of the car and where Pan would knock the cab driver out and do a Daytona style Drift all the way to Alvin's house before returning the cab back) of course we didn't do it! but we were all seriously considering placing JO in the trunk! Because he was the only person who didn't have to squeeze in the back! haha!

Upon arriving at Alvin's house, we made ourselves comfortable in Alvin's room and had a few laughs joking about Alvin's Dog Champagne(His dog was Fixed, so we were preaching the 4D concept to him haha) and the best part was when Joshua saw JO's secondary 1 photo! haha! It was super funny! it didn't look like him at all! haha! but sadly, the Laughter had to come to an end...

At 2am, the alliance between the 5 Men was broken, and War broke out...

RISK!! RISK!! RISK!!

Haha, yeah we played a 3 hour Risk Match! where by I am very proud to say that I was the first one to get eliminated! because I didn't really strategies, all I was doing was to adopt a very Gung Ho Method of play where by I attacked everyone without really caring about how many troops I had, In fact my method was so popular that they named a new "Art of War book after it" calling it "Henry Ping Fa" where by the first strategy the book teaches you is "How to kill Half of your Armies but gain 4 territories in 1 turn", Alvin and Pan were the two Titans of the Battle field, they were really funny as in the beginning they were actually the strongest players! but after 2 turns of attacking each other, they became super weak! haha! I think that they were weaker than me! except that they got more territories ah haha, Joshua was the Silent player, haha! throughout the whole game, he was quietly building up his forces and quietly and he was 2nd after the whole match eh!, JO is the Over Dramatic General who over reacts to every single incident/decision that happens in the battlefield, haha! the way JO reacted when Alvin destroyed one of his army was as if Alvin had Shot him with a Gun! haha! super Drama sia! haha!

It was a really powerful sermon! haha! and if you want to know more about it...GO BUY THE SERMON CD! MWHAHAHAHAHA! I FEEL SOOOOO MEAN! MWHAHAHAHA....ok la...I buy for you la...haha! anyways! after service, we celebrated JO's birthday haha, and it was really funny! because for his Birthday Cake, We bought a Fake Donut and 2 real Donuts! So we placed two relighting candles on the Fake donuts and presented the cake to him, OH! and the way Pan got JO to come down was really Cool! haha! He told JO that I was injured and that I wanted to speak to JO, then he told me to lie down and act injured, it was really a fool proof plan, the only problem was that I had no IDEA what was going on! haha! so by the time JO came down, I just only laid down and I had to improvise on the spot! Lucky I know how to act leg Cramp ah! haha! eh wait true humility true humility! BHB go Away! BHB go Away! haha! OH ya! the funniest part, JO actually tried to eat the Fake donut! haha! it was hilarious! I mean its bad to laugh ah, but it was just too fun funny already! hahahahahahaha!

Whoooo! What a Great day! haha And tomorrow, there is a movie outing at 1pm Habourfront, haha an Irony between me shi han and shi xiang, other then shi han and shi xiang being both shi, all three of us will be going to Habourfront tml! but at diffrent times...LOL!

A start to another Weekend! awesome! today pastor preached an Awesome Sermon on the last part of "Real Man", awwwwwww man...I really enjoyed pastor how's 5 part series of being a Real Man, but like he said "After the Sermon, Heart of God Church is Going to have a lot of Real Man". Anyways I find that everything after Service I would blog about what Pastor Preached about, so for today I would not be typing about what pastor preached about, not because its not powerful, not because I'm lazy, But rather because I think if you want to hear about the sermon, you should buy the CD and listen to it, it would be a lot better haha!

Anyways! Today! I did my 1st Usher Duty in Heart of God church!(technically its my 2nd cuz I did it in fop also haha) and wow was it Cool!! seriously! really I had an Awesome time ushering today! Initially it was really Tiring to be ushering as we can't eat anything till 2pm and we had to stand under the hot sun 1 hour before service, but at the end of the day its all worth it! haha! I really had a great time ushering the people in from the 1st floor elevator, and it really brings a warm fuzzy feeling to my heart when I say "Hi, welcome to Heart of God Church, This way Please" and the people would either Smile, say "thank you" or "Hi" wow! its really a super good feeling haha! Plus at the end of Usher, when we were all relaxing and waiting for Debriefing, We played Chak Teh!(very ancient game that the adults played) and it was super funny! as we were calling everyone hidden talents that can be uncovered, except Joshua! haha He's called the Danger man! Because the way he played Chak Teh was super scary! he didn't look to pass the Chak Teh! He looked to Kick the Chak Teh with all his Might! and on several Occasions causing Ushers to Run and Duck for Cover! haha!

And During Usher duty I met a whole bunch of People who I have never met before in church! haha like Nicholas, Dillon, Mark, Wei le, Josia and Many More! haha Anyways after service, There was the 80s and 90s rewind, where everyone wore very old fashioned looking shirts and dresses! haha I think Yassy won most Fashionable in the 80s - 90s haha! At around 10pm Mong, Pan, Joshua, Shi han and I went to Suntec City to go Find Jason! haha! I think everyone was really Random today! because one minute Mong was sharing with us the responsibility of us being Big Brothers in the CG and the next Mong said "The last one to Suntec is a PIG!" and We all just started running haha! it was sooooo Random! I think the people in the Underpass must have thought that we were rushing for the Last Bus or something!(partly because Mong was Shouting "Last Bus! Last Bus!", and in the End! Shi han was the Pig! haha! but in the Good way of Course, the Good thing about a Pig...erm...I get back to you on that haha!

Anyway, We met up with Jason and just hung out at the Fountain outside the Levis Signature Store, and did you know that Jason's Store is run under an Absolute weird Hierarchy?(Wrong Spelling I think haha!) because Jason would be ordered around by these two Philipino Ladies who have been working there for 8months already, and the worst part is that even Jason's Supervisor cannot do anything about it!(We came with the conclusion that He wasn't a Real Man), and Jason's only Ally in the Store is This China Girl, Wah! I soooo Want to Help Jason Buy out his Contract now! $500?! CAN! I just need some time only! Jason! We will help you get out of that Nightmare and bring you back to your Home! Heart Of God Church.

Wow! I want to be a Real Man in Heart Of God Church Man! Pastor's 4th installment of the Real Man Series is really Powerful! the first time Pastor How shared that Real Man Must rise up as when they Rise up, The whole Church will be Able to Rise up Also so Men Have to Take Responsibility! The second time Pastor Shared about Vision! about how "Living without a Vision is Worst that being Blind" for our vision is our Picture to the Future! and last week Pastor Shared about Humility! about how a Real Man Should have Genuine Humility and not False Humility! for Humility is about Objectivity and the Truth! so we should not Undervalue ourselves nor shall we Overvalue ourselves! Don't Deny our strenghts and Don't Hide our Weaknesses!

ZAI! Super ZAI! haha! wow I am really impacted about the "Real Man" Sermon! and apparently so is Kenny! haha! Yesterday Right after sevice, He was walking around telling Pan and Mong to "Take Charge ah!' & "Make Things Happen!" and like the sermon He didn't just Direct He LEAD! haha! while most of us were just chatting around with each other, He offered to help the Ushers to Pack up the Chairs! I was taken aback by his Actions! So I just stood there looking from him to mong and from mong to him, In the End Mong said "Go help him bah" and so I did haha! I think My Bro is Ready to be a Usher already!

As for today, We didn't really do much after service haha, except that we celebrated Sean's birthday haha! it was kinda a "very Obvious but Not Obvious" thing as I went into the Ale Frasco and without telling anyone anything, just turned off the lights and opened the Door for shi han, I can tell that everyone was Shocked! haha! So It Was a Job Well Done For the BC Crew again! haha!

Anyways, after having Dinner, We just walked down to the Auditorium to hang out and Have Fellowship with each other, and From today onwards! Angie has Allowed me to call her ANG liao haha! I think ANG sounds soooo Much Cooler than Angie or Angelina haha! anyways Had a great time playing Soccer With the CG during Pepsi Cola, I was top Kill for the First match! haha! I was Owning everyone! until! I got killed by Randal! argh!! haha! but it was Super Fun :D Church Is really an Awesome place! It is my HomE!

Back! From Triple G and Officer Cadet Alvins House! It was Soooo fun! haha! we spend 3hours just talking about Life, Who we like in church, What we want to be when we grow up, what we think of each other(apparently we are all jerks haha!) and what it takes to become a good leader.

Wow those topics really changed my perspective on lots of things! haha! I really enjoy talking to Alavin and Lolo :)

Anyways we all got knocked out at around 4am liddat!(except Gerald who claims that he got knocked out at 5am) and as usual I woke up at 7am, but I didn't wake up volunteering, I woke up because Alvin's Dog Champange jumped on my Tummy and when I sat up, it slept on my pillow. So yeah the Dog kinda Outsmarted me, but after that I K.O. again and slept all the way to 12pm.

And at 1pm after we washed up, we went to IMM and walked around there till 3pm, Gerald and Alvin bought some Sweet that looks like a Gel and said it taste Super Awesome, I felt sick watching them eat it as I the bottle looked like a Gel Container haha :)

After IMM, we went back to Alvin's house to Watch "Never Back Down!" it is quite a nice movie haha, very unique :) at around 6pm I went home and reached home at 7pm, Wah! Super Fun! I sooooo Gonna do it again!

Happy 17th Birthday Eugene!

and I met up at Whoo! An Awesome Day Just passed today, and since its Eugene's Birthday, all of the fonts in this post shall be Orange, anyways today at 8.30am Joshua, Pan, Shi han Bedok Interchange! why?!

To go to Eugene's House to Surprise him haha! But before we went over there, we bought Breakfast for His Family and Him, And we had planned to go to Eugene's house while he is asleep, But upon Arrival there we Discovered that He was already awake and that he is Texting with his Hand phone.

In the End we came up with this idea where by we would all go into His room and stone at the Magazine, so one by one we each went in and stared at the Nat Geo Magazine, and 1,2,3... POP! We pulled the poppers out and just jumped on his and started tickling him haha!

Anyways! Today Service was Really Powerful! Pastor How Preached on the 3rd part about being a Real Man! A Real Man has Humility, Not False Humility but Genuine Humility! Do not Cover your Strengths and Do not Hide your Weaknesses, Humility = Objectively, and at the start of the Service Pastor How Prayed for JO! Wow It was Amazing, JO is going to Rise up to be an Awesome Leader in hoGc! I believe its Possible! 4D! 4D! 4D! We believe in you Jeremy!

After Service, There was the TGIO Event, which is the Counter Strike Event! it was a pity that the team "Thirsty Hippo" Didn't Win, But It's OK Guys! We still Love you!

Alot of Bang! after Service, yep the Game Bang! wah Its really such a fun game ah! I don't know if it's something I did or what, but Everyone wanted to Shoot me first! Hmmm...Maybe Cause I kept talking nonsense and won't shut up, so they wanted to kill me off so that I can't talk haha! Oh! and alot of Wrestling during that Time! Chalet Loved! c1 & C3 Loved,

Hey People! Back From Chalet To Blog! Whooo! What an Awesome 2 days and 1 Night! Really Zai! Ready to Read more about it? OK! Here Goes!

On November 26, 11.20am, Esther, Si hui & I met up to go buy the Fish balls and Prawns! we were supposed to meet at 11am, but lots of things happened before that, so in the end we only managed to meet at 11.20am, after meeting up we took bus 359 to go to the Wet Market, but we got off a one stop early and in the end we were left lost somewhere in Pasir ris, The Place I used to stay when I was 3-4 years old actually! Memories! and Esther & Si hui said that I look like some autistic guy when I tried to relive my Childhood...WAH! Liddat also CAN! what sia! haha :)

In the End, we took the bus 359 all the way back to White sand NTUC, so yeah we kind of wasted our money. Choosing the Prawn was really erm...Sticky, Dripping, Disgusting. After that we went to The Food court to go have Lunch and at 1.15pm we went to the Shutter bus station and on the way we met up with the Ong Bros and Jason haha :D

We arrived at the Chalet at around 2pm, and we could only check in at 3pm! so we went to the pool side to Slack and wait for the rest to come. during which Eugene lend me his Guitar! and I learnt 2 more new cords and Now am trying to master the Rift for "From the Inside out", wahsia! I want to learn it! Eugene do super nice

At 2.45pm! we were finally Allowed to check in! all of us walked briskly into the Chalet as there were alot of Food that needed to be Frozen, once we were all settled down, it was around 3.30pm, and the first thing I did was to pick up one of the water guns that Desmond brought and fill it up with water and...GO ON A SHOOTING SPREE! haha! it was super funny to see the Reaction of everyone when I just aimed the water gun at them, They would either scream and freak out or keep saying "eh! don't ah! Don't Ah!" haha! Hilarious! and it wasn't long till we had a water gun fight going on outing the Chalet! haha! Desmond was really Funny! He came out of the chalet with a bucket of water saying "Henry! you want to spray me with water?!" then toss the water and it missed everyone, most of us stood there stunned for a sec or two, but soon return fire and desmond was Soaked! haha!

After playing with the water gun, we went to prepare for the big Celebration for Yassy! This part of the day was really an Emotional Turmoil! Firstly! the video we were preparing for her Was Lost! Wah! Pan and I were like Totally Freaking out ah! we spend more than 12hours making it! During Asia Conference! for the past weekend Services! and the whole day on the 25th November! but guess what?! But God! and But Lauren! They saved the Day! Miraculously Lauren Manages to Recover the Video and we were able to Show Yassy the Video! Hallelujah! Secondly! Yassy Came early than we had expected her to come!(haha She Definitely got the Heart of God Church Spirit! come 15mins earlier!), So it was really Gan Jiong when we saw Marcus's Car pull up infront of the chalet! it was really Chaos! everyone was Scrambling into Position and running around! But luckily Pan intervened and managed to stall Yassy for awhile by telling her that the Chalet has a Blackout! and when she came in, SUPRISED! haha! Super Fun! ;)

For the next 30mins, We Celebrated Yassy's Birthday, but at around 8.45pm liddat CG started! CG Was really Powerful, Yassy and Mong prayed for everyone, and God really Ministered to everyone, "A leader of 10, Believe it, See it, Live it.", My Vision in God is Clear. I agree with what Yassy says about C1 & C3, Everyone is Talented in His or Her Own way, and Everyone Has His or Her Own way in contributing to the CG, We are a Talented and Strong Group of Leaders for God's purpose, and He will use Us to Impact the World and The Society.

After CG, Mong, Matthew, Hong Bin and JO Finally Managed to get the Fire for the BBQ started! Special Thanks to Jem Tan who bought the Hippo Fluid! and then the most sway thing happened to me, I got Soaked by Jason! Wah! He took me by Suprise! I was just innocently playing with the waterguns and *Spooom* He drenched me with a bucket of water, Awesome...

Lots of things Happened during the span of 12-7am! Lots of Games were played! Many People were playing the Wii(specially Desmond, Hong bin & Shi han!), Mong and Pan were Casting out Spirits in the Toilet(According to Mong haha), Jason, Guan Xian, Shi han and Pan watched a Movie while I slept and all the guys wore Desmond's Facial Cream in Vain. I fell asleep with the White Cream on my nose, and when I woke up to peel it off, IT HURTS SUPER BADLY!

27th November, 6am, a Distant loud sound could be heard echoing in the room...

LOL! It was my Alarm Clock! It woked everyone up! haha! but I offically woke up at 7am, then went for a walk with Winne, Huiqing, Esther, Josephua, Lauren and Si hui around the Chalet area, It was freezing and I felt like a zombie!(maybe cause on the 25th-26th I didn't sleep)
At around 10.45am, the Staff came to check up on the chalet and she gave JO this feedback form to fill up, I did the filling of the answers and overall we gave them a review of "Good", the only Excellent and Poor were the Checking out and Checking in.

After leaving the Chalet, we Trained to Dhoby to watch the movie "Quarantine", It's a Zombie Movie about a Rabbis Virus that had Mutated itself, and who ever that has contracted the Virus will change into a Crazy, Reckless, Out of Control Super Human Zombie, The Movie was Totally Sick and Sadistic, Plus the Camera was waaaaaaaay to Shaky, I came out of the Cinema feeling Light Headed and Grogy.

Overall, These past 2 days have been Awesome! I felt so Sad when the Chalet Ended! Awwww! Imagine if we booked it for 3days and 2 nights! we would still be there having CG BBQing, Watergunning, Wii-ing & Calming Hong Bin Down(He was so scared that he Bath without closing the door =.=''')

An Amazing Week Has Just Gone pass! Firstly Asia Conference! Super Zai! I'm So Glad that I managed to Go to almost all the Asia Conferences!(missed 2 due to Ushering haha) I Can't Get the Song "Elevate your Name" out of my Head Now! Argh! Awesome! secondly, CCC! C3! came to HOGC! haha! They rocked the whole of Singpost! They are Much better Live than on the CD! haha!

Highest part of the Day: Everyone in C1 & C3 united under one banner cheering for C1 Soccer Team.

Definitely one of the most Awesome Days in Heart of God Church! Firstly Pastor Preached an Awesome Sermon about "Real Man", what is a Real Man? He is someone who takes Responsibility for his Actions, I totally Loved the Sermon! I'm so gonna get the CD! Waaah!! Love it! I want to Be a Real Man! Adam caused the fall of Humanity when he failed to take responsibility of teaching Eve on God's Commandment to not eat from the Tree of Life, But Jesus Saved Humanity when he embraced the cross during Calvary and when he took responsibility for all of the sins of Humanity, In short, Jesus is The Man of All Man! He is the Best Man To every live! My God is Awesome! The youths of this generation is our Responsibility! I won't Let that Fat Balding Tatoo Covered Oily Smelly Disgusting 30 something Old Man get Them! The Youths Belong To Jesus!

Secondly, The Worship and Praise today was so Powerful! I felt like the worship could have gone on for hours! it was amazing! The presence of God was so Real and the whole auditorium had the atmosphere of Faith! The Praise was Awesome also! We Jumped and Jumped and Jumped till we could not jump no more! Jason Jumped! Desmond Jumped! Everyone Jumped! it was So Cool! Phenomenal is truly Phenomenal!

Voucher! and don't Worry C3! I think JO won't mind sharing his share of the voucher to buy socks for everyone very Thirdly, The "Strike It!" Competition was Really a big Success! C1 won the $150 Addidashaha :P but more importantly, Seeing Raven 18 in Heart of God Church, Wow Amazing, 4D really Works! Even though they didn't Directly say it, I can tell that everyone in Raven 18 enjoyed themselves thoroughly from the sparkle in their eyes and their Genuine Laughter :) and during "Strike It" there was a Captains ball competition! I played captain in the First match and I was Terrible at it haha! but the second match I think I did much better :D hehBHB seh! anyways! During the Finals! C1 & C3 Came together and Cheered for the C1 soccer team which consisted of Jem tan, JO, Jason & Nat, Haha JO scored an Incredible 7 Goals! and Jason Made Crucial and Brilliant Saves to allow them to reach a final score of 8:2! Haha! It's the Record Score! Confirm! haha! and During the Finals! We were So Noisy that the Ref's had to constantly Ask us to shut up! haha! but we can't help it if we Love Our Soccer Boys What! We want them to know we are behind them! haha! It was truly an Awesome Sight, a large group of roughly 20+ people wearing the same Jersey Jumping and Cheering their Hearts(Throats) out!

A Powerful Sermon, Awesome Praise and Worship, C1 Winning the Strike It Competition, Raven 18 Coming to hoGc and having everyone's picture taken. This is no doubt the best day of My Life. I love HOGC 2.0, and C1 C3 2.0, More Pictures Coming Soon! Koon and Pan are sleeping! so they can't send me the pictures! haha but warning! Basketball, Queensway, Church and Home.

Whooo! Came back from Church! Basketball and Queensway! Too many things to blog about! and too tired to type about it, so gonna do a Shot Summary.

Played Basketball in the morning with Desmond, Eugene, Gerald, Si hui & Ming Jian. Before playing met them all at Singpost Macs where Si hui told us that she just gave birth to "20 little puacks". After basketball we went back to Church to Bath and Change, in the Toilet Pastor said that Desmond, Gerald and I were very polite and that only the people of Heart Of God Church are like that haha! after that We went to Collect the Jersey!!! Wahhh! Finally! yay! and on the trip back Desmond and I were being so Random that we decided to go to church to fold the jerseys haha~

Can't Wait for the CG Chalet on the 26-27 November! It's gonna be Awesome! oh ya recently I found out that ever since sharing my Testimony last month, People have been comparing me with a Hen/Chicken, Maybe it's because my Name is HENry? or Maybe it's because Shi han Sat on me b4 I came to Heart of God Church! haahhah!

Be Others Hearted,

Getting Jersey's Tomorrow, Awesome! Can't Wait! haha!

Anyways met up with Desmond at Singpost after collecting money from Grace, and walking from My house to Church(Shiok!), we then travelled to Bugis to meet Ming Jian to Collect his Jersey money, and no We are not Loan Sharks! We are just Wannabe Loan Sharks haha.

From Bugis we travelled back to Paya Lebar to meet up with Triple G, to collect his Jersey money also, Chatted for like 20mins(Gerald practically missed 3-4 trains haha!) We are going to have a Basketball outing This Friday! Yay!!!

After collecting the money from Triple G, Desmond and I proceeded to Church to eat Yoshidayama(wrong spelling I think haha!), Kinder Bueno, Half a Dozen J-Co Donuts & Cream puffs! It was like a picnic! Wah! my biggest mistake of the day! Not Taking Picutres of it! but my Phone died halfway through the journey back to Church so didn't really matter haha.

min of the 1 quarter, Eugene came and we went to play with the Basketball Desmond brought! We taught Eugene how to tap the Ball up! and he is such a fast learner! He learnt it like in about 15 We then sat at the Cafe Lounge and watched the NBA Match Houston vs Lakers, During the 7thmins! haha it took me 3 days to learn that!!! eh wait...Maybe it's because I'm Slow...Cannot be what...Eh wait...Ya I'm Slow haha!

We started playing "Monkey" and it was Awesome! it started off as a Casual game before ending as a "Guy vs Girl" all or nothing Monkey game! haha! in my opinion the Guys won, enough said haha!

After that, Si Hui started the Meeting for the Chalet, and I found out that I will be working together with Lauren and we will be doing Food! We are the CHEFS! oh ya now I just want to say that Si hui will make a very good teacher in Future, why? because My O's just ended and today she gave us a worksheet to do, and It look so much like my Homework! haha! Si Hui! Consider a Career in Teaching! :P

After the Meeting Yassy came, and she helped to calculate the amount Eugene and I have to Collect before we can be able to pay the Jersey in Full, And Apparently we only have $80 more! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

The Day ended pretty much the same, though I heard something that was quite disturbing, but everything is OK! haha :) Bused home, Ate My signature Dish "I can't believe it's Scramble Egg" and Now am blogging. Tired =_= yet Happy ^.^

Pastor Kong Service at Heart Of God church Today! And Service was Strong! Pastor Kong Preached about Faith and how we should all be 4th Dimension Christians! For what we Say, Think and do can affect the physical and soulish parts of our Life! Plus the Worship Team from City Harvest came! and man Praise and Worship was Zai! I seriously feel that everyone went up another level Spiritually! Think BIG! GODisable!

Anyways, Desmond, Koon wei, Eugene & I went to Queensway. We were just walking and out of the blue Eugene came up with this Idea. On the 15 of November, Heart of God church is gonna have its Jersey Day! where by Everyone will be wearing Jerseys and Playing Street Soccer in Church!(1st time ever!), so Eugene came up with this Idea, What if C1 and C3 all wore the Same Jersey! Wow! Won't that be Awesome?! shows Unity and plus the Jersey is very nice! so we walked around queensway looking at Different Jerseys, and we found some really nice jerseys! thought some one them are really Expensive.

In the end the best offer was this Jersey! it costs $30-34 with the service of Adding customized Numbers(Shiny Numbers haha @.@) and Name! plus its the only shop that has enough stock for around 30-40 people and it can be done in 3-4 days time! Check this Jersey out!

Softball Video", Amazed I watched the video and realised that the whole thing was made by "Ah Dotz! Was just randomly browsing through youtube when I saw a video title that says "BNSSpek", one of the team members of the old 06-07 BNSS

Looking at the Video, I remembered what Training used to be like, Every Monday, Thursday & Saturday at 3.30pm(12pm for Sat) Yong xin and I will go to the School Field to meet up with "Ah Pek" and the rest of the team to Suan each other on School Work, Fielding Skill, Batting Skill etc...

Then at 3.45pm Coach Kenny(Ironically same name as my Bro haha) would come and make us run 2 laps around the school field(which takes about 20 mins as everyone jogs at snail pace just to Piss Coach Kenny off haha) after which we would pair up in 2 and practice our throwing.(that's my Favourite part! :D) at 4.30pm Coach would gather and set us into Outfield and Infield and from there He will torture us by constantly Hitting the softball at us until we can field like professional Softballers.

Training Fielding takes forever! It only ends at 6pm sometimes even 7pm! but it was Always fun, as at the end of the day Coach would give us a Prep Talk on the next match and how we can or have improved.

Haizz...I really miss Softball T.T lol I still have the Softball that I took from School, it's rotting beside my bed haha! Though my final turn in the School team ended bitterly with Coach.

It was the 2nd inning of the Match against Bedok Green, I was playing Centre Field and everything was going fine, we had 2 outs, our pitcher was having the worst game of his life, we were all falling asleep when

The Batter Bats the ball Straight in my Path! I was totally caught unprepared and overran the ball, but I managed to recover fast enough to prevent the opposition from scoring 2 runs, I though I managed to redeem myself. But right after the 2nd

I was so angered by his reply that I threw my glove beside him and went to a corner to sulk(very bad tempered last time ): ) we eventually lost the game 12-9, after that game I barely even spoke to Coach Kenny ever again.

Haha! Anyways, It feels soooo good to finally be able to use the Internet again! Felt so Lost without it! Can't read any E-mails! Can't use my Facebook! and worst of all, Can't check on my Favourite Arsenal Team! Argh!

But all the Ranting aside, The reason I can't use my Internet is because Jian hunt busted My Computers Wireless, He kicked a ball and broke the Modem in Half haha. There was Combine Service last Saturday, and Pastor how Preached about "Anointing" and it was a really Powerful Message! UNION!, Oh and a Funny thing happened during service! Pastor How was preaching about the Difference of Uniformity, Unity & Union, so when Pastor was explaining about Unity, he used the Sports & it's Teams to explain about it.

Half-way Through his sermon, Pastor asked the Arsenal Fans to raise their hands!(before that Pastor asked the Man utd fans to raise their hands! and they made a lot of Noise!), so Naturally Gerald(A.K.A Triple G/Steven Jia Lat) And I raised our hands! and in order not to lose to the Man Utd Fans! We both shouted "whoooo!...", only to realise that we were the only two people doing it! haha!

After Service, We went to go Have Dinner! before we went back up to Church to play "NBA Live 07" on the XBOX console, Desmond Trashed me 46-30, He trashed me in the 3 point shoot out(8-9) and he Trashed me in the Slam Dunk contest, so yeah he pretty much Owned me haha!

Saturday Service was Awesome! But I can't Wait for tomorrows Nick Vujicic Service! I have been looking forward to it since erm...The Day It Was Annouced!! OK! I gotta go now! got lots of E-mails to reply to! waaaah! Oh ya! Gonna Watch High School Musical 3 next Week! Join me if your Free! don't be shy! I treat Popcorn!(my friend pay :P)

Today Garrett Preach a Powerful Sermon, and I think the way he preaches really reminded me of Pastor How! the Sermon really spoke to me and it confirmed my revelation about C1 & C3, We are Growing Stronger as Each day passes, We are Beginning to take Charge of Our Connect Groups, and We are Sharing the Burdens of Our leaders.

The most Amazing thing that Happened today, Two New Friends gave their life to Jesus! and That they will "See you Next Week". God really is Amazing, His Plans are so Precise and He Always Finishes what He has Started, That's My God.

I just realised something today, All the Guest preachers from City Harvest Church Are all Super Zai one! The Sermons they Preached are all so Powerful and Impactful! Today Pastor Aries came and preached about How we can go from being just Good, to Great!

It is possible through the 3 parts our body are made up of, The Spirit, The Soul & The Body. in order for our moment of Greatness to come, We must first listen to God. so the first thing we have to do is to use our Spirit and Get a Revelation From God, as Jesus wants to move you from Logos to Rhema! So We have to Pray Specifically!

The 2nd thing we have to do is to use our Body and Rehearse what the Lord Has Shown us through Deliberate Practice! which is to explicitly intend to improve our performances thigh levels of repetitions and Improve on all Aspects of Life. We should always have a Mind set of "I can Do IT!" for doing things through a Different Mindset can make a lot of Difference!

The last thing we have to do is to use our Soul, we should have an Attitude of a servant which is to have the "It's OK if people don't notice me, as long as I can serve God, its OK" Attitude! for True Servant hood begins when you don't care about what sort of reception you receive. So We should start being Faithful with Money! We can start being Faithful to the Vision of another Man(Our Pastors & Leaders) and we Must be Faithful to the Little things in Life! by remaining faithful when you serve God, God will start to uncover the Talents hidden inside of you and start using you.

Seriously! I loved the Sermon Preached by Pastor Aries! I'm sooo Gonna get the Sermon CD! I'm still having the Blown away feeling! after Service, we celebrated 2 birthdays! Wei en and Matthew! yay!Dinner was Really Awesome, I Agree with what Yassy said, We are a CG bonded together by Food.

One of the Funny things that happened today was that We Video Called Eugene! and it was super Funny as we gave him a free tour of the whole Table! Si hui was the Funniest! she thought it was a Call and answered it! I can only imagine the View of her ear haha! jk jk :)

Maths, PM, BMI

Somethings should be left unsaid.

Woah! Had my Maths Paper 1 toady. I woke up at 5.55am and well just sat on my bed and dazed till 6.14am, before walking to the shower blured and sotong like. Luckily the Water was super cold! It woke me up! after bathing I set off to Damai Secondary for my MATHS PAPER TWO! *Thun Thun Thun!*

At Damai, I Relished that I didn't Bring my Entry Proof! so there was a 50% chance that I could not Take the Exam at all and be sent home!(cue *scared music*) so I went to the General Office and ask the Clerk if I could get a copy of my Entry Proof, but she said "Cannot, you must go ask your invigilator, So I went to ask my Invigilator who said "Cannot, you must go ask the Vice Principal of the School, I don't want to get in trouble. So I went to the Vice Principal who said "You have your IC? OK Can go ahead take the Exam.)

So I walked from the Classroom to the General Office,
Then From the General Office I walked back to the Classroom,
And From the Classroom I walked back to the General Office,
And Finally from the General Office back to the Classroom.

Lesson Learnt, Bring my Entry Proof to prevent something like this from Happening again.

Speaking about my Maths exam, I lost 17points on 4 questions! Siansational! but I'm not gonna brood about it, I'm going to Concentrate on doing well for my Maths Paper 2!.

before stopping(our brains were After my maths exam, I went to Bedok Mac to meet Jian hunt to study for 1 hour 30minsgooed) and from there I went home, Bath and walked to JalanSinglap to meet Shi han to go to the Last Prayer Meeting in Church, Prayer Meeting was really Refreshing, after praying I felt more alive!

Challenged Shi Han to Pool, and well I lost the first game because I scored the 8ball, but I won the other two games! one by myself the other one was won by Winifred(who could not stop distracting the players lol), so I guess its a 3-way-tie.

Building Maintenance & Improvement!(BMI) was next! and since there were only a few people around to do BMI, Ming Han asked everyone to go to the 13th Floor Toilet and Clean it! BMI was really Exhausting, But Fun!(as Always :P) though I think it was not a good day for me to do BMI today, firstly I sprayed the window cleaner on myself while trying to grab it and I touched something I should not have touched...(Trust me you don't want to know.)

After BMI, Sean, Si Hui, Winifred & I Hung out in church for awhile before setting off home at 22.16pm(Told you I remembered!) after that I just bath and am Now rewarding myself with a Bowl Of Wanton Noodles...mmmmmmm...Wanton....

Yeah! Finally Post Number 100! whoooo! Was looking back at all 99 past posts and I noticed that during these past 7 months, Many Events had happened. Reading all the past post really made me appreciate everything I have now. I wonder what my life & my blog would be like 7 months ago if I had not went to Heart of God Church.

Maybe I would still be sitting at home every weekend wasting my time in front of the computer playing Mindless computer Games, Or maybe I would not have retaken my 'O' levels and could be waiting to go to Army already. One things for sure, If Ong Shi han had not invited me to Heart of God church on the 21st of March, or I had Backed Out on the day, My Life would not be what it is today. Full of Hope, Faith & Love.

Ever Since I became a Christian, My Friends have been asking what a miracle is, That if God could produce Miracles then why don't we all just sit down and not eat or drink for 10 days straight, and if we survive then that would be considered a Miracle, and since its humanly impossible to do that, then there are no such things as Miracles.

In the past, I would be unable to answer the question as I did not know the Answer(Haha I guess it's Payback for what I did to shi han). So whenever I tried inviting them to Church, they would say that they will only come to Church if I can Answer their question of what a Miracle is. And Now I can answer it.

A Miracle is Seeing a Person Respond during Altar Core and taking a step of Faith, A Miracle is seeing a person Change for the better after knowing Jesus Christ, A Miracle is Seeing a person Stay Faithful and Loyal to God regardless of the insults or attacks, A Miracle is What you Perceived it to be. You can either spend your life searching for Miracles, or Live Life like it is Already a Miracle.

Just 3 shy till a hundred...Finally!

Whooo! Just finished my Chemistry Paper today! Overall it was Not too bad, A little easier than the Chemistry Paper I did last year(Maybe because its the last time we're allowed to take the old syllabus)

Now the Next thing to get ready for is my Maths Paper 1 on friday. Gonna meet up with Jian hunt to study again this wednesday and this Thursday! I'm Determined to do well for my Maths 'O' levels this year!

Errrr...I feel so left out of so many things this week, Could't send Yassy off to the Airport, Could't go to church today to help out with major service ops cleanup and could't stay online past 00.00am(though I set that myself), I can't wait for My 'O's to be over! Today's Sermon was Awesome! The Bank of God is everywhere! We Are the Bank of God! in order for us to be able to reap, we will have to give up something precious or important to us, that's the way God Works.

So it's time to stop having the Small Person mentality where by we are afraid of taking risk and just hide, We must change our Mentality to one where we continue to give to God regardless of what The situation and take a step of Faith and allow God to Work in our Lives.

He's the Director of Life without limbs, and like his organizations name, He is born without any Limbs, he's just a torso but the Amazing thing is that He Is able to Live a Normal Healthy human Life! Slam Dunked

Jump a little bit Higher.

Woah! I managed to study for more than 8hours today, Officially breaking my Record!
Woke up at 6.30am today, and just studied, though I won't say it's really studying as I was like half awake half asleep, so I studied till 11.30am, after that I waited for Pepper Sauce to call, because he said he wanted to study and help me with my science at 12pm today.

However! he only replied my SMS at 12.30pm as he just woke up! but it's ok as he managed to rush down and meet me at 1pm and we proceeded to go to KFC to have Lunch and at 1.30pm we went to find Jian hunt. and from there we studied at MacDonald's from 1.30pm till 5.30pm.

After studying for so long, We all had severe Headaches, Though Xin suffered the worst as he felt dizziness also(Get Well Soon BRO!) after that we walked to Jian hunt's House to play basketball for awhile, on the way there, Jian hunt started coming out with weird nicknames for himself like ACE, Destiny Boi, Curry Sauce, Chilli Sauce, etc...

One of my goals in life have been fufilled! and that is to touched the rim of a Basketball court! Coolness! It's the first time I have ever touched the rim, and all I wanna say is...It's not what people think it is...it's just

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha! I spent most of the day trying to do a Slam Dunk, the results were not pretty, most of the time I fall awkardly or just slamed the ball to the rim...HARD. at the end of the day, I didn't do a Slam Dunk, But I came close to getting the skin on the heel of my foot torn.

It's Hard to Slam dunk when your only 175cm tall, But it's not hard to touch the rim when your 175cm tall :D, Chemistry paper will be on Monday! Jia you to all those with Major Exams! you Can Do it! :D

Woah had my 'O' Level Practical Today! Physics was easy in the sense that the questions that the paper ask WERE SO DUH! I didn't have to think or ponder any of the questions and I was done with the physics paper in 30mins! I had so much time that I repeated the Experiment 3 times! So Much Fun!

Chemistry on the other hand, required a lot more thinking, They didn't tell you the name of the substance you were supposed to use, they just gave you the equation like NoSOH(not real equation). Was really hard for me as I always had a hard time recognising Chemical Equations(Same goes for Buses and People :S)

Overall the whole practical exam was not as hard as I thought, but there was something that definately irritated me. MR. DRAGON HO JIAN HUNT, played with my long ruler before the start of the exam, he was bending my ruler up & down to test it's flexibility, then...

*Pooooock!*

He was holding my ruler with two hands, in two diffrent peices, staring at it with a *Dotz! I broke it?* expression. ME? I sat beside him with the *I can't believe you just did that* expression. The best part is he could not stop laughing for 5 mins, he just sat there hysterically going "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"
While I stood there having the dunno want to laugh anot look.

After Science Practical, I went to Tampinese Interchange to go meet Eugene, and from there we went to Mundai. After that I went home. S:D
