Believe to Overcome.: Summary of a Powerful Weekend

By The Grace of God, I Did IT! Thank God!

Whee! On Cloud 9 today! I just finished Sharing my Testimony to the Church today! I feel Awesome now! WAAAAH!

OK First things first, I went to pitstop last Friday! It was GREAT! We ate Chicken Lasagna, played half a dozen games, Made a lot of noise, and had an awesome Fellowship Session! Best thing about the Pitstop outing was that we actually stayed at the Singapore river bank and just talked for 1 hour plus! and I got to know Suhatono more! haha he's seriously one of the funniest and nicest guys I have ever met! Plus we all gained A higher understanding of Each other! and Gerald and Si hui's Brother talked about Buffing themselves up...

AWESOME!

Next up! Saturday Service! I could not sleep at all on Friday night! was too Excited and Nervous about sharing my Testimony infront of a few hundred people tommorrow! Anyway Woke up at 7am(only slept for like 2hours liddat, Strangely I don't have eye bags, Must be a sort of Genetic Enhancement haha!) Could't Eat anything at all! Only thing I could think, breath, talk, smell and feel is the amount of time left till I share my testimony.
I reached Church at around 11.45am and went to the Admin Office to find Marlin(she's helping me with my Testimony!) Practiced my reading and speaking my testimony for 30-45mins, wow I had no Idea that my Testimony could Impact lives, All the more I should be Confident in speaking! and When I'm on Stage I won't be alone! Pastor How would be there, And of course God will standing beside me!(that made me feel a lot better!)
At 1pm, I went for CIC!(Church Introductory Class!) and Wow was it powerful! we learnt about the next 4 pillars of the church, The cultures & Values of "Heart Of God Church" and What it means to be in "Heart of God Church". Oh ya! Marcus Ong said one of the coolest things to me during CIC! He shared with me his experience of sharing his testimony

After CIC, I went straight to the Admin Office to Continue with my Practice of my Testimony, I read through the whole thing twice(I read it to Yassy :D) , before Wendy(another person helping me with my Testimony) told me to go down to the Auditorium for Sound Check, Wow Sound Check was quite a Nerve Racking experience, because the auditorium was like Half full, But nevertheless It was fun! For the first time I heard my Voice through the Speakers! And I must say, I sound pretty MACHO! haha no la jkjkjk!

After Sound Check, I went to the BMI Closet and Prayed for 5mins, After praying I felt calm and less afraid, So after Pastor's Sermon I knew what was coming, Pastor How was gonna invite me on stage to share my testimony. A Million thoughts were going through my Mind! If My mind could speak, It would have been Screaming at the top of its lungs, But the most unexpected thing happened. The person Sitting next to me(a complete Stranger) Looked at me and he said "No Worries, I'm sure you'll do fine" and from that I remember the people who encouraged me before services, people like Yassy, Leonard, Mong, Gerald, Si Hui, Roy, Shi han, Marlin, Wendy and many more, and something In me clicked!

So when Pastor How called my name to Stage, I walked up on Stage and Shared my Testimony to the Church! And even though my Voice and Legs were trembling tremendously, I manage to share it without any significant difficulty.

WOw, thinking back, I'm really glad that shi han didn't give up on me, specially when I asked him ridiculous questions, It's really such a privellege to be in Heart of God Church where we have World-Class Awesomey Pastors, Loving and Faith filled Leaders & Sincere and Encouraging Friends. I Love Heart Of God Church.
