What Does God Think about Sex?

God says that Sex Within Marriage is Good, but Fornication is Bad.
Fornication: Sexual Intercourse outside of Marriage=Adultery

1 John 2:16 "For all that is in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-is not of the Father but is of the World."
God Did create Sex, BUT he did not create Sex Drive, That was created by The World.

Sex Outside Marriage will only bring?

1. Mental Torture
2. Emotionally Break you
3. Kill you Spiritually
4. Endanger You Physically(HIV etc.)

How Do you Stay Pure?

1.) Maintaining Proper Relationship With the Opposite Sex.

2 Timothy 2:22 "Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart."

How Far Can I go?

1 Timothy 5:1-2 "Do not rebuke an older man, but exhort him as a father, younger men as brothers, Older women as mothers, younger women as sisters, with all purity."

Answer: You can go As far with the person of the opposite Sex till the extent of your Brothers and Sisters.

2.) Manage your mind

Proverbs 23:7 "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. "Eat and drink!' he says to you. But his heart is not with you."

James 1:14-16 "14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren.

Temptation

Think About it.

Desire Conceived(Start to feel for it)

Sin is Birthed(Action On it)

Sin is Full Grown(It becomes a Habit)

Death.

3.) Make a Standard of Commitment to God.

Hebrews 13:4 "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will Judge.

God is a Covenant Making God = Covenant Keeping God.

Marriage is not a Contract, it is a Covenant.

Virginiry is the one thing you can give one time to one person in one lifetime.

I know I will get attacked by people for blogging about sex, but the sermon that Pastor How Preached today had a lasting impact on me and I can't help but share with those who visit my blog. And yes it is better to learn about Sex in Church then from your friends or yourself. Like what Yassy said during CG today, Stand by your Pastors and Leaders through everything and pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
