The Best Way to End A Weekend

Proverbs 1:7 "The fear of the Lord & the beginning of Knowledge."

An awesome End to an Awesome Weekend, so many things happened today! And you are lucky! I am Going to try my best to describe every single one of them...HAHAHAHA! lucky you! :D

Number 1! Today's Sermon was Awesome! Pastor continued the sermon he was preaching last week about How the beginnings of leadership started with leading our self. This week its about Leadership over our Will! Pastor preached about how Jesus Went the extra Mile in everything he did! and how we should just go "a Little bit Farther, a Little bit Longer & a Little bit More". Pastor also shared with us that we should "Have a Heart of Fire For God, a Heart of Love for Others & a Heart of Steel for ourselves"(quoting Saint Augustine :D) I really Felt impacted by this sentence as it speaks of how we should be On Fire for God by having a Heart of Passion for Him; How we should have a Heart of Love for others by helping them achieve their Dreams and How we Should have a Heart of Steel for ourselves as We should constantly be Willing ourselves to subject ourselves to Jesus!(AMAZING!!)

Number 2! MY Brother Actually Responded To the Altar core! I was super Shocked when he did it! I mean I had always imagined him doing it, but to actually see him raising his hand and placing his hand to his heart is really a Heartwarming Experience! I remember the First thing I said when I saw him raise his hand was "Thank you Jesus! Thank you!!" I was Ecstatic! and at the end of serivce I gave him a big hug and told him "Welcome to the Family :D" and well, he just gave me his usual "Meh, Yeah Whatever :S" but I can tell that deep down he is Really Happy :D Praise the Lord!

Number 3! We Celebrated Pastor How's Birthday today! The whole Celebration Can be Described in one word "Out of this world!"(ok maybe four words, but you get the meaning) The Whole Celebration was Really well Planned and the Skit(That Roy planned!) was really Nice! it played with our emotions, leading us from Happy to Serious to happy to Entertained to Touched and finally Happy again! Wow! I think he should be a Drama Producer! the ratings will Sky Rocket! Well tooo many things happened at the Celebration for me to Elaborate, but one of the points to note was that Shi han performed! He was in Choir! and the best part is I can't help but burst out into laughter when I saw him doing the rainbow gesture and singing "you Raised me Up"(It was supposed to be a really Kodak touching moment, but I think I spoiled it for sean! wah!) Oh ya and the video showed Si hui running around the Cry room, Its not really relevant to Pastor How's Birthday but I just found it really funny.(The way she ran like a free spirited butterfly that got shocked when it discovered it was being filmed with the response "huh? what? why? why? why?) :P

The Last one! We Managed to Complete The Model Church that we were building for Pastor How! Amazing! Seriously! We only began building it yesterday at 10pm(in fact it was more like slacking then building) It was estimated by the professional(that Pan consulted) that it would take approximately 3-4 days for us to complete the whole Model, but by Faith and Determination! We Did it in 2days and 7hours! Who says its impossible? Shame on you! haha! Looking at the pictures I took this morning and the ones I took at 8.45pm I could never have imagine that we could acomplish something like that! I really Have to Thank everyone who played a part in the building of this Model! be it the people who stayed back on saturday to help cut the Windows, The ones who came at 12pm to help assemble the Building, the ones who rushed to finish the textile, the ones who painted the Model Church white, the ones who help cut the logos, the ones who Wrote the words and ensured that the Model Church is in perfect condition or just holding the Church during Pastor How's Celebrations! You all played a part in making this so called "impossible" Feat Possible! Thanks a million and one times infinity! you guys are really The people We can count on in times of need! :D

The Beginnings Of Leadership

Sleep is what I really Need now, but still I blog, why? Because I am Bored :D

Yeah! My Brother Kenny Came to Church! and this time he stayed for service! And the best part is that he gave the entire service 8/10! where did the other 2 go to? lol simple he said service was too long and that he could not feel anything.(but that's not the important point! the important point is that he gets the sermon! Hurray!)

Today Pastor How preached a powerful sermon on "The beginnings of leadership" where he shared with us on how we can control the thoughts that flow through our mind, and how important it is to Think of the positives instead of the Negatives! Get your Soul to Side with your Spirit and Defeat the Flesh!

• Matthew 26:41 : Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Overall Today was a great service! the best part of service is that at the beginning My Brother Kenny said "This is the first and ONLY service I will be attending, EVER!" but after service! His statement became "I am definitely not coming next week, BUT I may come the following week after my Marathon"

The Change in his attitude in Church is really inspiring me to invite more of my Friends and let them Experience what Heart Of God Church Has to Offer :) plus During CG Yassy shared with us her calculation of how many friends we need to bring in order to reach 1400 by the end of this year. Initially the numbers were Staggering!(1400 new friends!) but after breaking the numbers down, it turns out that we only have to bring 2 new friends every week! and in this 2 new friends! 1 is bound to Accept Jesus Into His/Her Life! Inspiring!

So to end my Post, I just want to say That today has been a really great experience for me! I love Heart Of God Church! Ask me Why!!!!

Uh Oh Pitstop!

ugly!, Ugly!, UGLY!

Yo! just came back from Clark Quay and am Feeling really proud now, why? Because I walked Home! Haha!(not from clark quay ah, from eunos...still a far distance ok?!) and the best part is that it took me just 20 mins to walk home!*clap! clap! clap!* how many of you can say that you walk home from Eunos before? not alot right? :D(specially if your living in Jurong :P)

Alright! Today is what I consider a feel good day :D because its just packed full of activities! haha! first up this morning I played Soccer with Yong Xin, and you know what? We're pretty Darn Good! I mean compared to last time we actually improved a lot! we were passing, scoring and dribbling like S-League Pros!(I would say BPL Pros but I don't want people to say I BHB :P) Had a super Awesome time playing Soccer with Yong Xin today, We gotta do it again Bro! It's Just too much fun :D

Next up I watched this Super Funny Movie called "Meet Dave", for most people the movie was average, but for me it was Classic! the timing of the Humor and puns are Picture Perfect! I was literally LOLing for 60mins!(for 30 mins I was crying at the sad story and Sitting with my mouth open during the Actiony Parts :D)

At 5.15pm I met up with Fab A.K.A Gerald "Spearhead" Chan :) at Dhoby, initially we intended to go somewhere, but we changed our minds as Si Hui was on her way there already, so instead We started Chatting about Badminton(Which I totally Suck at!) and about one of his Friends who did not show sportsmanship and how the Friend had invoked a rematch Clause in 2 weeks time! Wow! Like Championship Match! Bro I want Tickets to watch the match! :D

5.30pm, Si Hui arrived and off we go! to where? To Plaza Sing KFC! where I was the only one who bought something to eat! Yay!(=.=''') We Started to chat about lots of Random stuff, before we touched the topic of "Have you ever Had a Major Accident" then Gerald Started sharing with us a lot of injuries he used to have, and to be frank, I was freaked out!(no Offense bro!) I mean he told me that he woke up during an operation! and that even though his Leg was bleeding and showing Flesh, he just kept on playing at the playground! Argh! I have a slight problem with blood, so yeah was feeling abit Queasy.

But the Best Part was when we went to this awesome place called "Pitstop"!(A place for people to eat and play games!) It was definitely the Highlight of my night :) I ate the Black Pepper Chicken Chop which is really Tasty when you add soup, That's right you heard me right, SOUP! SOUP! SOUP! the first game we played was this Parachute Game where everyone is riding on this Massive Blimp, the objective of the game is to jump off at the right time before the Blimp crashed! And I was Really Nasty in the game mwahahahahaha! Throughout the whole game I was wearing my "You can never Guess What I am thinking no matter how hard you try, and even though you may think you know, you never truly know" look :D and I managed to get people to Jump off the Blimp at the wrong time haha!

Throughout the whole game Mark was like "Wah I trust you, then you do this to me, Wah I hate you, haha!" lol then there was this one time when I managed to trick everyone except Gerald(shucks! :P) to stay on the blimp, and eventually causing it to crash :D

The Next game we played was Super intense! It was filled with Hand Slapping, Loud Shouting & Aggressive Tugging of Cards! that's right...the game is

UGLY MONSTER! WAAAAH!

This Game is really Rowdy and loud! and it really suits the Mood for the day! as everyone was snacthing cards and shouting "UGLY! UGLY! UGLY!" and occasionally some would shout "UGGGGARhhhhh..." when the Card was not matching :D This game was really cool with Pan Lim! being the guy who has to do the Forfeit! which is to eat a gross French Fry Made by Mark! His Own Cousin! WOW! talk about sibling rivalry haha jk jk :D

Overall this was a Great Day!

Yesterday was really great! I managed to study 6 hours! haha!(actually more like 4 hours, I spend 2 hours slacking, having lunch and basically just laughing :P) This thing here has taught me a really good lesson, which is, With Determination ANYTHING is Possible! ADDIDAS!(spell wrong I think)

Recently I found myself spending a lot of time in front of the computer, and noooo is not for playing Games!(OK, maybe a little bit of time was spend gaming and watching movies...) Instead! I have been, Are you ready? Are you sure? Really Sure? Sure plus Chop? Sure until you not so sure but then after thinking it through thoroughly that you finally decide its sure? (yeah Its irritating! but its fun for me :D)

OK! I have been writing a Story! HaHa! Surprised? So am I :D So you want to hear more about this story? You do? Great!(you don't really have a choice you know =.=) This Story that I have been writing is really a Sports Story! Its about a young Soccer player Rising up from a nobody to become the biggest soccer star in the business! the story is supposedly filled with Joy, Anguish, Sorrow, Love, Desire, Passion, Faith and many more! In the Story, our Hero, Goes through many trials and tribulations before finally tasting Glory and Victory! so yeah basically its your typical Sports story which has a Rocky Training Montage.(but hey, its good! :D)

Lastly Just I just want to pray for Pastor How for he has torn a ligament in his ankle today, But I believe he will be fine for Prayer Really Works! Let's All keep him in our Prayers Tonight!

Singapore is best in Paya Lebar and Bugis, and some say Dhoby leh!(totally irrelevant =.=''')

Yo, Have not been blogging for awhile. Reason? You guessed it, I am too lazy to blog about the things that have been happening. Why? Because I only want to write a post filled with lots of pictures and videos! Why? Well...Because I rather let them do the work, so in the way I guess its just another way of saying that I am too lazy to blog. So Sue me :) Thank you!

Recently, Many people have been telling me that my Blog is DEAD. Well I am proud to say that My Blog is FAR from dead! It is just taking a little break, lying on the floor resting its eyes, Erm...Excuse me(Runs Over to 1knewlife.blogspot.com and Pumps a Random Post causing it to jump to its feet and frolic around happily) OK so I just want to make things clear by saying This Blog is NOT DEAD! It is just not as alive as it used to be, so please please please please please please please please please times infinity to the power of another infinity stop telling me "eh Henry, I think your blog dead liao eh, how ah? wanna go fly kite then somehow kena lightning strike in hopes that the lightning will cause your blog to come back to life?)

I feel so random right now, maybe its due to lack of sleep(I have only slept 8hours for the past 3 days! and the miracle is that I don't have Black eye! haha Jealous right?! :P) or maybe its because I am feeling Whoosy, talking about Whoosy I just discovered that I have a fixed time where by I become Whoosy!(F.Y.I Whoosy for me means like abit high abit emo abit crazy and abit out of place) I get Whoosy when it is around 12pm - 2am, its has been happening for quite sometime now. Why did I decide to tell you that? Because I wanna give you people a heads up :D hahahaha!

Anyway BMI was super Fun! Clean the Corridors and Lift! well actually Gerald and I spend most of the time suaning each other inside the lift, but we still managed to get the job done! Yeah! Work Hard and Play Hard! that's my motto! OK, I now feel sleepy should I go to sleep anot? hmm...dilemma!

Festival Of Praise

An amazing week capped off with Festival Of Praise which was Out of This World! 11,000 people came and worshipped Jesus under one roof! plus My Favourite singer Rueben Morgan Was there! And he singed "In the Mystery" which is like a super coincidence! because 1 day before the actual Festival Of Praise I posted the song on my blog! talk about flow! haha!(hey a guy can dream can't he? :P) though I admit, Parachute Band Rocked the house down! I Love their new Song! Its like......NICE!

BMT is Awesome! I finally Graduated! and I chose photography for my 1st choice, for I really need to train myself to work under Pressure and Think fast. Oh I just find myself listening to alot of Jay chou songs, EMO sia! eeeeee! why is Jay chou's songs so Emo? I mean its nice but the whole mood of the song is always about being Sad, though the lyrics of the song are really meaningful. Hmmm...why am I talking about Jay Chou all of a sudden? must not be thinking straight again(8hours in 2days, enough said.)
